Marketing 4 P’s

Marketing 4 P’s is a simple checklist of important dimensions to work on in defining a marketing plan. The 4 P’s are:

  1. Product
  2. Price
  3. Promotion (Publicity)
  4. Place (covering Distribution as well as Location)

This somewhat company-centric view is now seen as omitting a fifth important P, People. A customer-centric view should be adopted in evaluating marketing decisions.
