Customers often search for local businesses. It is important that businesses are correctly located in the Google Maps system. This is best done through the Google Local Business Center (LBC). Mike Blumenthal has an excellent blog on Google Maps. He notes that you can now remove duplicate records if such have been created in the LBC.
