Google Local Business Center Gives Visitor Data – 2009/06/03

ZDNet informs us that Google provides new data tools for local businesses in its Local Business Center.

Google has become the online version of the Yellow Pages. Finding a bank, pizza joint or a hotel in a strange city is as easy as hammering out a quick Google search query. Google is pushing to get as many business owners’ listings as possible by including the most accurate information about things such as hours of operation, driving directions and reviews.

Google is now offering business owners analytics data on how visitors are exploring their Google local listing.
